This information is intended as guidance for anyone wishing to submit material or assist with the Derby CTC web site.
Errors/Bugs/Problems
If you find something does not work we would be very grateful if you could let us know. You can either email poculent@yahoo.co.uk or let the Secretary know.
Please give as much information as possible when reporting an issue. We would be grateful if you could provide the date and time of when the problem occurred, the computer and web site browser you were using and the steps which resulted in the problem. The problem may be a temporary network or system glitch and so it is always good to double check and ensure that you can reproduce the same error.
Photos
Photographs must be submitted electronically if you wish them to appear on the site. Derby CTC has no facility to scan in photographs from prints or slides. The images must be supplied in an acceptable and common format such as JPEG or Windows Bitmap. We cannot currently accept Photoshop images and images of a poor quality may be rejected.
It is highly recommended that some descriptive text is supplied with each photograph. Please also keep your selection of photographs to a small number – people prefer to look at a select few rather than pages of photographs.

Please supply this in an electronic format such as MS Word or Notepad. Derby CTC currently only has the ability to accept information from Windows based PC’s if you are using any program other than Notepad.
We very much welcome thoughts on layout or suggested formatting.
Anything else?
We actively welcome comments on the web site and help from local members in administering the site. If you wish to help further, please get in touch, however an amount of computer knowledge (e.g. filenames, programs) is required and access to a modern computer with ideally a broadband connection is recommended.
